Introduction to Academic Project

In a growing environment of competition youngsters must look forward to put their different ideas. A new idea always catch up the attention of the world. The new ideas build up successful projects which further develop into technologies.

In RTM nagpur university, BE students having two types of Academic Project. Which are Mini project and Major project. 

Mini Project: It is project of duration three months. In 6th semester students have to make a mini project of Total cost between ₹200 to ₹2000. The projects are based on 8051 microcontroller which we have studied in 5th semester of BE (EN/ET/EC). The main objective of mini project is to make students friendly with practical knowledge of process, live project, components and Instruments used to make projects.

Plan of work:

------------------------6th Semester----------------------

1) Choosing mini project based on 8051 microcontroller 

2) Making of 5v power supply.

3) Finding perfect circuitry and it's code (in' C' or 'ALP')

4) Simulation using Proteus ISIS software.

5) Check hardware working in Breadboard.

6) Making PCB in Eagle software.

7) Implementing final hardware.

8) Making synopsis on the project.

Major Project: Major projects of BE EN//ETC students is of duration one Academic year. Which is Final year hence it's also called as Final year project. The major project of any student  play important role in campus as well as other recruitment. *Domain* of project describe interest of students in that field. The final year project is also important because students have to compulsory present their work on International or Domestic level. 

Plan of Work: 

------------------------7th Semester----------------------

1) Choosing project of any domain agreeable to respective project guide.

2) Study of various *International Journals* (Technical Paper/Literature) on respective project.

3) Show Idea , strategy and previous work (on the project) in First Project Seminar (to take approval from Project Coordinator).

4) Work more and present methodology of project in second Seminar.

5) Publish "Literature Survey" in any international forum. 
NOTE: Marks of project seminar (7th semester RTMNU) are based on first and second project seminar.

Project Domains:

Here are few ideas of latest technologies in which the projects can be designed. The different domain (topics) in which major projects can be designed are-

1.Artificial Intelligence:

Artificial intelligence is an intelligence displayed by machine in contrast with the natural intelligence displayed by humans and other animals. Making an artificial intelligence based is means making a machine which can react to any input by thinking like  humans. AI accept the input, process it with previous history and some general knowledge and according to these provide output. The best example now days are Apple's Siri and Google's 'Ok Google" the personal assistance feature provided by MAC OS and Android OS respectively.
