Rakshabandhan festival
was organized on Tuesday 8th August, 2017 at Priyadarshini J L
college of Engineering. This festival for the children of the labours working
and residing in the college premises. The objective of the program was to share
happiness with clothes and sweets to those people. The event was comprised of Rakhi
tying and distribution of new clothes and sweets to the families.
In the program the
senior faculties of the college and HOD of all branches were invited. Dr. A M
Shende, Principal of the college was the guest of honour for the event.The program was started by the welcoming of the guest and all the faculty members. There was total 8 families and 11 children’s invited in the function. Rakhis were tied on hands of the boys by college students. The new cloths and sweets were distributed to the families by the hands of dignitaries present in the stage.
The program was the
joint venture of the faculty of Electronics and Electronics &
Telecommunication Department and ‘EXORDIUM’ the student forum of EN & ETC Department.
